Took some reference images of me sat in a chair to get the perspective of my scene for the album cover..
- included pics of well known Nike trainers
- more relatable to the modern age
- can consider the "As their shoes fill up with water"
- trying to elicit the heart ache and disbelief reflected through the song
- concerned they're taken too high up for the flat / face on perspective I am going for...
- went back and took some pictures at the right height / perspective (POV)
- side on so he can be looking at the mac on his desk in full view
- same positions but from the straight on point of view..
Began considering other elements of the composition..
- The tissue box to go on the desk further exaggerating the heart ache
Developing the scene with other decorative objects?
- plants
- lamps
How I can develop my illustration style through more hand-rendered techniques, give it that more artisanal and sketchy quality?
Through developing ink splatters and more fluid brush strokes in illustrator..
