As part of the AV8 name, we got approached to get involved with a label who were putting on a serious of intimate house parties for the Leeds students. This involved live-streaming a section of the night and also creating some summary content for social media.
My job was to create the initial identity artwork for the night, which I enjoyed doing.
I had full creative freedom, so made use of a few more of my blackwork drawings and then subtly warp animated them to give them some life - this would better accompany the energetic and spacey star theme in the background and also the quick tempo created by the DnB tune used and opacity flashes used on the content..
I created versions for the artwork to sit on the Facebook banner of the event and Squared for instagram and other socials so it was appropriate for all mediums..
This was a brilliant opportunity to get the AV8 name out there with the right audience and involved with some events too - not just live-streams!
