Eye Experiments

Feeling satisfied with my progress with the glitched compositions, I decided to go back to my original eye experiment ideas. Using images off NASA, I am trying to create this concept of us all having visions and concepts within us, which come from our unique roots and experiences. And the visual aesthetic of nebulas and galaxies for me, display something similar to the complexity of everything around us in our world, putting it all to perspective...   

I used two different eye images and experimented with the colour of the iris as oppose to the composition within/around it. The blue iris did work better with the deep blues and darker shade of the nebulas and space, and this iris in particular has been enhanced to appear even more breath-taking. You can really see the patterns within each individual eye.. 

 I experimented with opacity and blending layer to give a more realistic effect.. 

Below is my favourite as the colours and stars work most consistently with the colour of the iris and the way the light reflects on it. It appears the most natural (if an eye can appear normal with the whites replaced with galaxies!)

I tried developing the idea slightly further, depicting this road (of life) we all in-vision ourselves going down and also tried depicting freedom and peace of mind with a cloudy sky background in the eye..

Again the brown iris image wasn't effective as the blue...
