... but found when I loaded it into Photoshop, the program crashed and I was left with some interesting glitched-out compositions! This inspired me and got me thinking about actual glitch art and the concepts this could bring to the project. The glitch left me with ideas of the malfunctioning of our world, which Lennon refers to in his song. And if I could create the glitch myself and alter it and depict imagery within it, it could be a solid concept. I looked into coding and how you can alter the coding of your images and create glitches and got some interesting results.
First I played with just block colour and introduced some type to it.. 'If Only...' This was meant to produce this questioning of the world we live in and how it so corrupt and malfunctioned. But will we ever be able to pick up the pieces??...

I found that some of the above experiments were slightly too busy, especially when trying to represent a John Lennon song. I tried experimenting with how the type was visualised, so it was more of a challenge to read within the muddled up glitch world. I chose to use a simple sans-serif font to create this contrast and to reflect the digitalisation and progression of being 'modern'.
My last composition I was most pleased with as I managed to create the glitch from one of the eye images. This brings in more context and concept of in-visioning this perfect world from such a malfunctioned one...
