OUGD406: Exhibition Branding - Location Research

The Bank House

To begin research for this brief it was appropriate to start with looking more into the location of the exhibition itself and the identity behind that first; the Bank House is a former regional headquarters of the Bank of England so it has past links with 'money' itself but the main attraction of the building is its brutalist, striking architecture and that it is a grade two listed building.

The inside space that will be using for the exhibition has a very plain, corporate office feel to it. It replicates the office scenes from 'The Wolf of Wall Street' which is not your regular art and design inspired exhibition space you'd expect, with white walls and lots of light. Although the room does offer many windows that we will have to work around on the one side, featuring pretty shitty carpet across quite a vast space.
