When we first assembled as a group, we exchanged details through a group contract to ensure easy communication upon the design process..
We began gathering our initial ideas with how to face the brief..
As we are presenting Studio brief 02, the exhibition will be displaying our analogue/traditionally printed currency designs, which will be displaying our ideas of the future of money. So our initial ideas were mainly focusing on money related designs and how we can make this work. Immediately, we were thinking of both modern banking and banking processes from the past - credit/debit cards, cheque books, receipts from the cashpoint, etc.
We came up with strap-lines that can be used like "The future potential of currency, combining modern mindsets with traditional techniques" and "Come help us decide the future of our currency".
Our strongest idea concept which started to build was the idea of an exclusive bankers club, the type you'd see on a film with subscriptions and members cards, etc.
We managed to sketch out a floor plan of what our exhibition space looks like to help produce way-finding and signage accordingly for the room..
