As my travelling ideas became more realistic too after influential chats with Frankie from the Design Kids, and Abraham from the PopUp Agency it seemed to me that all designers who have gotten somewhere and are having fun with their practise have an active and engaging presence through their social media.
I saw this as my opportunity to create something fun and that I'm passionate about and have free creative direction with for after uni - whether this grows into something or not, it is a good reflection of time well spent after uni, specifically for developing your practise and engagement with the industry and people you admire.
- I will start pushing the blog into a platform to reflect the ongoing practises and inspirations for me and my travel partner, Max Ward - who is a also a recent-grad creative, but he specialises in film and television production.
This makes us the perfect duo to document and reflect on our experiences leading up to the travel adventure and during - in a professional and considered manor through the social media platform.
Starting out as just a visual inspiration blog on Instagram, we now have plans to develop this into a creative platform promoting not only ourselves and our current projects but our inspirations, day-to-day activities and charitable work too.
We aim to use this page after uni to drive ourselves forward as fresh, recent-grad creatives with a current and playful yet professional approach, we will be offering ourselves independently and as a collaborative duo - available for freelance and commissions.
With plans to push their works into a more charitable realm - we aim to raise money and produce fund-raiser projects for charities such as Cancer Research, Breast Cancer Research and Help for Heroes. Eventually feeding into our big travel plan, set to begin in April 2019!
NEW NAME:
We decided upon a new name to represent this new venture with the platform
- taking inspiration and following on from the concept of the old one, but bringing it into a new realm of interactivity and engagement for the audience!
"THE VS PROJECT" or "The Visual Stimuli Project"
