After presenting the current visual identity I have developed (applied to the flyer) to the group, I wanted to just touch up the front of the flyer so it was ready for print. This involved re-aligning the text to the left side to enhance the whole structure but then also changing the heading to the gold colour to better balance the colour across the flyer and also enhance the name!
We then started considering how we can push what we can include on the other side of the flyer. It needs to be informative about the exhibition - info providing context into it & also a wayfinding map?
We decided it would be a strong move to combine some of Aneta's wayfinding work into the flyer so everyone has an easy to follow map pointing them in the direction of the exhibition. I took what Aneta had already done with the map and refined it a bit ready for use on the back of the flyer..
As some of the info was not clear, we re-visited the map together and made use of a map off google maps to mark the most important and viable road names people would recognise and then be able to follow to get themselves to the exhibition. I also added popular spots like Trinity and the train station for further help with getting their bearings.
Final Design proposal -
This does (paired with the other side) provide all the necessary information required for the exhibition whilst being consistent in type, colour and style. I am pleased with the response I got off the group and they helped me adjust parts of the info to best expose all of our work for the exhibition identity.
