603 - Brief 04 - Development of Ideas

- Ideas of how the background can move subtly like a flag ?
So the flat backgrounds come to life very subtly and set the mood
Subtle whispy motion

Flag example: Asel Tambay at Intern Magazine

I knew that in order to create a flag texture such as this I would need someone with some advanced C4D skills to create the 3d nature of the whispy flag
- I got in touch with a friend back home who actually had just the right render for me which he had used in a previous project.
- Transition through the colour spectrum?
- All warm Hues

Would make for a pretty beautiful effect on the event space - as it’ll be dark outside then events are on so will have a soft electric glow coming seeping out

- Really slow and steady transitions, then this can kind of dictate the mood, like this:

- Subtle pastel-y colours will definitely give more character and mood than the starry / spacey effect

- Text will stay static but the background slowly loops

- Don’t have to have the intern logo on every square image - maybe just on the ones were we can have consistent colour and positioning

FLAG OPTIONS:
- White -

Tried rotating the hues but now as the pictures are full bleed you don’t actually get to see the colours evolve - it just appears in red/green/blue tones between the images - looks quite childish and unprofessional.

- Not subtle enough, so I suggested we try a single colour instead to invoke a mood - applying an orange texture to the flag.

Colour Psychology behind the colour Orange:
Orange, the blend of red and yellow, is a mixture of the energy associated with red and the happiness associated with yellow.
- Orange is the color of joy and creativity. Orange promotes a sense of general wellness and emotional energy that should be shared, such as compassion, passion, and warmth.
- The meaning of the colour orange is stimulating, vibrant, and flamboyant

Studies show that the orange colour can create physical effects such as heightened sense of activity, increased socialisation, boost in aspiration, stimulated mental activity
- A light orange or peach colour tend to be more friendly and soothing.
These are perfect justifications for a social exhibition space invoking creativity and networking within the industry.

Orange side panel and square transition example
- would then cycle round each picture and eventually come back to the intern branding animation I made to draw it all back to the brand.

How this can be applied to the talk intros too, to break up the looped animation and keep it fresh and engaging for the audience:

- Ensuring steady fade in and out transitions on the pics
- Ensuring each pic is up for at least 25 seconds.

SENT EACH RENDERED OPTION OVER AND AWAITED SOME FEEDBACK
