505 - 1 - Existing Collateral

I looked into the regular collateral already released by Headrow, considering how they approach the various events in terms of style.

Ad posters - To best represent their identity I looked at posters and flyers they put out online and in print form for recruitments, etc. The strong orange colour is recognisable, especially when actually in the building and faced with the lightbox art. For me, these are what sticks with visitors, they are unique piece of decor and definitely something to consider representing through my posters.

Very modern and quite minimal approach in terms of image and colour, type reflects this too and stays true to the square feel which is strongly recognisable from the logo.
The ads often use fully justified type alignment which effectively stays consistent throughout the identity.

Slightly more sophisticated feel for the cocktail bar, as discussed previously. Still very modern feeling - minimal and pastel-y staying true to current trends.

Event Posters - For the event posters solely ran by Headrow they do become more experimental with type and image - however always stay true to their current and modern approach.

Colour experimented with much more free brush strokes

Could consider a much more vectorised approach, however this could be more difficult to represent through the traditional print method.

Headrow are in partnership with SuperFriendz, who release regular events and gigs within the space. Their Music event posters stay true to this modern approach. Experimenting with justified text at the bottom complimented by large, more charismatic overlaid text representing the bands playing.

They do love a centralised text approach - something to experiment with

From looking at their collateral I think I will go down the more modern route, reflecting their recognisable colours of orange and white within a structured type set up. I do want to look into how I could represent the buildings past too though, through Western styled graphics/more traditional hand rendered type reflecting the old Saloon styled bar which used to be there aswell as the cotton mill.
