In Australia, polymer banknotes are used instead of paper. Such notes incorporate many security features not available to paper banknotes, including the use of metameric inks*; they also last significantly longer than paper notes, resulting in a decrease in environmental impact and a reduction of production and replacement costs.

This has pushed me to taking a similar sort of concept to the crit to find out how I could maybe try and produce a bank note design on a transparent acetate with a specific type of analogue print process, e.g. monoprint or screen? TBC..
