- I'd only screen-printed tees once so wanted to join forces to properly experiment with that and boost both of our new platforms
- They needed some design options for their tees and also they needed some motion help for their socials.
Created some nice collab labels:

For their socials, they gave me 2 different posters which they wanted animated, this would liven up their website and social media pages, adding an engaging element which would boost interactivity and catch people's attention:
The first design was simple
- was just a matter of ensuring equal spacing between each line (taking into account the ascenders and descenders don't clash)
But the second was more complicated:
- they wanted each line/layer of the WYS banners to pan (anti-clockwise around the entire composition)
- this would then be overlaid by the coloured dots which can randomly bounce around off the sides of the canvas
- the wiggles would warp slightly
- the main text boxes would scale-bounce
I started by importing the .psd file into after effects and then transferring all the various layers into a new composition
- I then had to double each line in length and then using a clipping mask, make it pan across the banner and disappear into the next perpendicular banner to create a never ending illusion pattern.
- My eyes nearly broke doing this
- Text boxes would disappear and then pop-up and glitch in order throughout the loop to accentuate the background
- Some imperfections with the banners
- Some of the movements of the warped wiggles need softening as they can be a bit sharp on the corner
Feedback:
- Over-complicated it, lose the glitch
- Have the text boxes there the whole time and focus on the scale bounce
2nd version:
- Behaviours of the wiggles slightly softened & banners have been touched up.
Feedback:
- Scale bounce is too energetic and boisterous - needs slowing down and reducing
- Give the outcomes in various options
(squared with border for insta, thin border all around for in situ on site, & then a no border version)
Final version:

Feedback:
- eye-catching
- impactful
- consistent with their brand
- appropriate to spice up socials
