With what my scheme actually is, it would not look right without some sort of illustration - obviously something bike related! As I am very inspired by the new digitalised illustration styles I knew I wanted to experiment with something of my own which could feel very vectorised and clean to fit the whole aim of the aesthetics I am going for.
I started looking at images of the bikes within the schemes down in London and how they appear which then built onto the whole vintage bike frame style and how this can then be applied to a nice bold illustration..
The bike above for me in-particular, is beautiful - its form, and clean feel would look perfect illustrated for this bike scheme. It's a classic vintage shape and would appeal to both the youth and older cyclists that may be attracted to the scheme - it brings a warm feeling to the whole aesthetic for any bike lover.
So I started looking at how these can be simply drawn around and illustrated on Adobe Illustrator..
Then thinking about how animation design would perfectly light up with whole bike scheme on a screen - picturing the animated gif of a cyclist wizzing across the screen with the logotype following it.
I needed to start drawing my vintage bike and then I could start designing a little character/mascot to fit the whole identity - to appear on ads and the app.

I started watching videos on how it can be done and just to gather some more inspiration..
